Spent three wonderul days with my spouse at Temple Gardens. We are truly missing our morning ritual of a soothing dip in the indoor/
outdoor rooftop mineral water pool and a light breakfast at Morningsides Cafe. Okay, we also miss the late night dips underneath that great big prairie sky. So much more than the water is warm at Temple Gardens, the staff is warm and friendly in a unique Canadian way, the service is prompt and the whole place has an ambience of genuine welcome. For a smaller city, Moose Jaw has an amazing number of things to do. Highlights included the Tunnels of Moose Jaw, the Yvette Moore gallery (check out the copper doors and trim), a couple of wonderful dinners at Harwoods and extraordinary Thai food at Nits (right around the corner from Temple Gardens. Be sure to leave time for at least a couple of indulgent visits to Sun Tree Spa.

What a wonderful place in Moose Jaw of all places!
If you are ever in the area, this is where you must stay. It is so reasonable, yet elegant. Everyone there we saw, especially in the mineral pool had the greatest smile. Here's to your health!

Stayed one night at the hotel as we were in town for a wedding. Arrived at the hotel @ 15:05 hrs and my room was not ready yet. That's very rare that you can't book in yet at this time ? unless I'm wrong but throughout all my travels I have never had problems arrving at a hotel at this time. Anyway we got our room and found it to be very average to say the least. We had stayed here a year ago in the sky wing and found the rooms there to be much nicer. Furniture was kind of old and although they were trying to make the room look nice with a plasma t.v. they should not have wasted there money with this thing as it was a cheap model and branch that I've never heard of and you could barely watch as the picture was so bad. Bathroom was average with absolutely no counter space to put anything. Dark green carpet to boot........just seemed to have an old feel. The staff need to get some sort of customer service training. When I checked in she said that if I go up the elevator my room with either be to the left or right ? Oh. really well i would hope so. That was helpful. We popped into the attached casino later in the night which was o.k. As there is not a whole whack of choices in Moose Jaw when it comes to nicer hotels this is probably your best bet. Although if you are not looking for anything fancy I did notice a new Days Inn that would probably be clean etc., just would not have all the amenities.

“where is the class”

I was shocked at how low class this place turned out to be I had to carry my own luggage to my room to start with and when we got in we were told that our treatment time had been moved so we had all of 15 minutes to throw our luggage in and get moving nice way to start relaxing...
I decided to have a beer up stairs so I was not impressed when I was done and had to go stand in line for a refill it reminded me of being a Tim Horton’s.
When I have stayed at Fairmont hotels across the country I have seen about two staff members for every guest and really at $130.00 a night that is what I expect.
The staff was good for all the multi jobs they had to do and were always very apologetic for the miss managed situations that arose.
Finally I wished someone would have told me that they do not have a real chef at the restaurant as I have had better meals at Arbys.

Our 2nd visit to the Temple Gardens Mineral Spa Resort was as enjoyable as last year's.

This year, knowing about the parking situation I pulled up to the front, deposited my family and bags, checked in, and then parked. Parking is across the street and hotel parking is only on the 2nd floor, so if you park first, you have to schlep your bags across the street (if you are staying on the pool side).

Checkin was easy, and we had reserved an Executive Suite on the 4th floor (Room 406), the same level as the pool. The Executive Suite is a large two room suite with sofa bed, full table with four chairs, TV and fridge in one room, then closable french doors which lead to the bedroom with a king size bed another TV, balcony, and large bathroom. Cost $199.00 CAD

Bathrobes for use during your stay are included. The pool is warm inside, but even warmer outside. It does feel great to have the cool air outside, but your body toasty warm from the water.

Breakfast prices were fine and it was convenient to stay at the hotel for breakfast. The Casino was right across the street and most attractions are within walking distance.

Houston's is a great family restaurant that is within walking distance. The Tunnels were a fun attraction that are walking through with actors. You have two choices, the Al Capone tour or the Immigrant Chinese tour.

Couldn't resist posting the picture with the Moose Crossing -- very cute.
