There is a unique quality to the food at Au Parmesan and having eaten there several times we have come to know the owner, Luigi pretty well. He takes such an interest in his food, his waiters, his musicians, and interacts with everyone from the people waiting at the door to be seated, to the individual diners and their meals. There is a festive mood throughout the restaurant, the waiters are engaging, Mario and Sergio are wonderful musicians and even encouraged me to play along with them on my trumpet, with which I always travel. All of the recipes are Luigi's and I especially love the balsamic which Luigi personally crafts and ages. I can't wait to return.
