“Game Dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

We loved this restaurant. We ate out on the patio, and enjoyed beautifully roasted rabbit and duck presentations. You need to make a reservation and it is crowded and noisy, but great fun and great french food.

“Tasty Rabbit Dishes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

We visited the restaurant in August on our trip to Canada (4 adults and 3 kids). Rabbit is the specialty of the place, so you should order rabbit dishes. Everything we ate was delicious, try the rabbit pie. The deserts were great also. We were sitting outside, its is nice when the weather is good. The service was good also. The only bad part, they do not take reservations, so you need to come and wait at the spot. It is worth it to wait.

“A bit of a tourist palce on the "Rue des touristes"”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

We stopped in for lunch. While the setting outside is quite delightful the food was less so.

My wife had the Croque Migneron, and I the Lapin Moutarde. The open face sandwich was just that, and seemed a bit less than it could be. My rabbit was flavorful, but it was a bit dry. Thank goodness for the mustard sauce. The french fries were nicely done. The Boreale Noir beer was quite good, but a bit pricy; priced for a tourist who drops in off the "Rue des touristes".

“very cute restaurant and open till late”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

We were surprised about how early restaurants close in old quebec. After we got turned down by Bistro Sous le Fort (told us they close at 9:30pm) we found ourself at this cute restaurant. I had the special, fish of the day, it was a cod with pumpkin sauce and so tasty! My husband had mustard sauce rabbit, also really good and just right portion. It is nice that hey give you a deal for appetizer and dessert with a main dish.

“Just what I was looking for”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

I saw this quaint, wonderfully decorated restaurant on my walk the first day in Quebec City and knew I would go for dinner. It was pouring rain and I sat outside under the heat lamps and tarp amongst the beautiful flowered courtyard. The rabbit pie was so very tasty. The staff, just excellent. Another couple braved the weather to eat outside and the conversation was fun. Great food, great service, great place!
