With my girlfriend, we went to Quebec City at the end of November 2012. We stayed at Auberge St-Antoine and had dinner at Lapin Saute restaurant on Saturday evening.
I lived in Quebec City 20 years ago and always thought that restaurants located in 'rue du Petit Champlain' are for tourists only. As a result, I never went to Lapin Saute.
I was a bit skeptical when we made reservation to this restaurant. But it did not took long for my skepticism to vanish once we got in. During the winter season, the restaurant is very very small (reservation required) since there are probably tables for 30 people maximum. We selected a plate for 2 with a sample of different meals, mostly rabbitt and duck (including foie gras). The food was excellent, plentiful and the waittress was very attentive to our needs.
Very good restaurant.
