We picked this restaurant in a rush after being seated in another Italian restaurant that was sooo LOUD that I thought my head would crack. Cicicio is two steep blocks off the main street of Rue St. Jean. You cannot see the signs from Rue St. Jean. It is a quiet refuge of southern Italian cuisine. I started with a blue cheese and pine nut salad that had an abundant selection of pickled veggies and two kinds of tomatoes. I had Penne Putanesca with perfectly cooked pasta served HOT. My wife had Pesto Spaghetti that was delicious. My brother had linguini with clams that brought a big smile to his face. The wine selection was fairly extensive and had many selections at the 30-40 dollar range. A very nice place for couples or small groups that want to have conversation with good food.
