“Very nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

We stayed this hotel for 4 days. Our room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and we were surprised that they speak English very well . The breakfast also was very good and a lot food choices. I will still choose this hotel for next time. The only weakness is the swimming pool is small.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

Stayed for three nights the second week of August. When we arrived, the desk people spoke very good English and the check in process was quick and painless. When we got to our room, the air conditioning had gone amok and it was very cold. There was an error message on the thermostat that we just couldn't fix - couldn't even shut off the air.

Hey, stuff happens but what makes a first class establishment is how they fix problems and they resolved the issue quickly - the thermostat had to be reset in the maintenance room or something. No problem.

The rest of the stay was good. The breakfast was fine, lots of juice and Euro style coffee with a good selection of bread for toast and bagels.

The only minor complaint is when we were checking out. We were on the 5th floor and there's only one elevator. Not a big deal as we normally used the stairs but when you've got two rollie bags, laptops and all the other neccessary "stuff" you travel with, then you've got to use the elevator.

We were leaving at around 9:30 and there was a cleaning lady with a large cart waiting for the elevator. It took a good five minutes to get to our floor and when the doors opened, there was another cleaning lady with an equally large cart getting out. Honestly, these carts take up almost all of the available space.

We waited for her, helped the lady on our floor get in and when I turned to grab our bags, she let the doors close.

Geez, I had to jam my foot in the door to prop it open, struggle with the bags while my wife tried to force the door back open so we could wedge our way in beside the cleaning cart. Trying to get our stuff and ourselves in the elevator, took three or four times while the door kept trying to close and the cleaning lady made no effort to push the "door open" button.

I said, "You could at least help us out here," but either she didn't speak English or pretended she didn't.

A little effort here would've gone a long way. I was pretty ticked off at her behaviour and really, during checkout time with only one elevator, couldn't they kind of work around their schedule? Why is one cleaning cart coming up while another is going down at the same time on the same floor?

Other than that, I'd recommend this hotel.

Thank you kindly for your comments in regards to your recent stay with us. Each floor is equipped with housekeeping carts in order to elminiate the usage of the elevator by our housekeeping department and also to maximize its accessibility to our guests.

We will address this matter accordingly.

We stayed at this hotel because we needed a convenient airport location due to an early flight. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean although a little dark, and we had an overall good experience.

Stayed a few times for quick business trip to Quebec city.

Nicely located next to major highways, the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff is friendly and responsive to any request. Complimentary breakfast and plenty of morning newspapers are a great addition to this hotel. Most definitely will be a no brainer for future trip to Quebec City.

2 couples stayed at this hotel for 1 night during a stop over. The rooms were very nice and clean, the staff were friendly. The hotel is a $10-$15 cab ride from the airport. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there are restaurants relatively close by and there is a bar of sorts in the hotel. The breakfast was a complete free-for-all with food and children everywhere.

Overall this was a nice hotel for a brief layover.

Stayed here a handful of times and every time was the same: friendly staff, modern furnishings, clean rooms and chocolates on my pillow! A large soaking bathtub (that was clean) European breakfast coffee, juice, breads and croissants, cheese and fruit. Excellent value..

The room was clean, the location of the hotel is close to airport. Breakfast is not replenished in a timely fashion.
But for the smell, boy oh boy, the room smelled sewage. I did not ask to change it as I was tired and wanted to get rest.
My stay was for one day only.
Do not stay in the room that is on main floor right to the reception when you are facing it.

Room Tip: Do not stay in the room close to the reception stay on upper levels.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your comments regarding your stay back in February 2013. Would it be possible to have the actual room number you have stayed in order for us to specifically pinpoint the challenge at hand?

Thank you once again for your constructive feedback and I look forward to hearing back from you.
