This a modern ,fairly up-market version of the typical Italian restaurant.
There is a good buzzy atmosphere in a nice comfortable room; staff are friendly and informative; and the food is a notch above the average...... as are the prices!
On the downside, we were waiting for ages for our food to arrive. Also, both the menu and the servers went on and on about "the momma" and her recipes to the point where I was sick of hearing about her, and just wanted her, or one of her descendants to get on with the cooking. We felt that the restaurant was trying too hard to seem authentic "old Italy" while the décor screamed the opposite.
