“The only place to stay in QC!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

What a fantastic hotel with unbelievable service. The location is perfect and so is the size. It felt like a little village with everything you would want. The staff was top notch. The rooms are impeccable and it's in the details you will fall in love. Heated bathroom floors and a selection of nice music to play on a bose system.

My wife said she would love to live in a room like this everyday! We were in a group of 3 couples. One couple was on another floor so the only annoying thing was access to that floor. You can only go to the floor of your room with the access card.

The restaurant, Panache, is one of the best in QC. If you're thinking about where to stay, this is it. I wouldn't venture out unless you want to be budget conscious. I hope to go back soon!

This was our 7th and last hotel on our trip across Canada....My old boss used to say...send 'em home happy and this is what this hotel did.
In the heart of the city's old port facing the St Lawrence river....it is moments from the ramparts and the quaint old streets of the port. This property has been beautifully restored and all the artifacts discovered have been displayed a lot better than most museums manage.
The rooms are luxurious...furnished to a very high standard and finish. Spacious bathrooms with fine towels and toiletries.
Downstairs a beautifully designed lobby and bar.
Highlight of our stay however was Panache restaurant...Exceptional food....exceptional service. Special mention to the lady concierge...sorry forgot her name. Again all through our travels in Canada..the hotel staff have been brilliant

Room Tip: TRY to get a river view room

World-class hotel in an excellent location. Amazing attention-to-detail and level of service. Very convenient for exploring on foot. We've stayed at quite a few luxury hotels and this is at the top of my list! Can't wait to go back!

A charming well run boutique hotel.

Staff were pleasant and extremely helpful.

The room was super clean and the decor exceeded my expectations.

There was an expresso machine which I enjoyed so much that I purchased one for my home when I got back to Ontario.

Old charming colonial Quebec seamlessly and tastefully juxtaposed with the new modern era.

I commented to one staff member at the front desk that it must be nice to work there.

She stated that the 80ish lady owner was like their grandmother, and they loved working there. It was apparent to me this was true.

The lunch in the restaurant followed suit, excellent.

The only complaint was that I was unable to locate their red house wine from any supplier locally, and later discovered it was a private order from France. The bartender had offered to let me purchase a bottle but I mistakenly thought I could get it from the LCBO.

All in all a very relaxing and charming place to visit.

Well done.

We spent two nights at Auberge Saint-Antoine and enjoyed our time there.

One of the interesting things about the property is the mix of contemporary and old-style decor: while the reception area was very classy and modern, our luxury room was decorated in an equally considered but thoroughly different traditional French style.

The room was large with a separate bedroom off a good size living area which gave onto a courtyard garden patio. The bathroom was adequately sized with a nice range of good quality amenities. The 'kitchenette' cupboard that featured a kettle, fridge, sink, coffee machine and microwave was extremely helpful to us as we were travelling with our then-12 month old, so being able to prepare food and drink for her when needed was very useful.

We had relatively limited interaction with staff overall during our stay, but those we did speak with were always warm, friendly and very courteous.

One of the main reasons for choosing this hotel was its location and it certainly didn't disappoint: nestled in the old town, but just across the road from the river, it was a perfect base for our couple of days of sightseeing. It's also a very gentle 5-10 minute walk from a whole host of restaurants and cafes which will spoil you for choice.

We'd gladly recommend this hotel as a charming base for a stay in Quebec City.

We come to Quebec City every two years for a day or two on our way home from a driving trip to visit family. We often want to pamper ourselves a bit. This historic building underwent a tremendous renovation to produce one of the best boutique hotels anywhere. It is on a par with Relais and Chateaux locations we have stayed at in France. Don't count your pennies here... it is expensive. But, the food is top quality and worth the extra 10% and the rooms are very well appointed, with heated floors in the bathroom to comfortable beds and very good (and quiet) HVAC. From the time you meet the car valet through check in and guidance to your room, all by fully bilingual young staff, you will feel pampered.
The auberge (inn, in French), is located right in Lower Town, just below the Chateau Frontenac and close to shops, restaurants and the museum. You never need your car unless doing a day trip to Isle d'Orleans.

We enjoyed our stay so much. Love that they don't charge for every little thing (wifi & coffee, newspapers, yoga) Everyone was so kind and went out of their way for us without overdoing it. Felt sincere. Welcoming. We were upgraded and had a beautiful jr. suite with terrace. (rm 515) All great!!!
