“Very nice and affordable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012

Very nice and affordable hotel if you must stay in that area. Far from the old city, but close to shopping centers and about 10 min from the airport. Clean and recent. Will certainly stay there again.

“Affordable friendly hotel on outskirts of Quebec City with free shuttle”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

We chose this hotel based on price and good reviews and it delivered. Stayed there on our 3 week tour of Canada, which is an expensive country for Europeans to explore these days. We did intially book a hotel within the Old City walls, but changed it to Sepia to save money. We made uuse of free shuttle every morning and evening to/from the centre of the city and worked really well for us. Our room was compact and simple, but we were comfortable and had good night sleep on large beds with quality linen. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome and at home.

“overall good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

we were travelling by car. this hotel is a few miles from old town. parking is free. room is nice and comfortable. bathroom modern and very stylish but with very little counter space. breakfast is available for $$. forgot how much-in the $7 to $10 range. the are fast food restaurants fairly near by. there is a complimentary bus service to and from old town twice a day. so the combination of no parking fee at the hotel, and not having to park in old town saves quite a bit of money.

“Very comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

Hotel Sepia is in Quebec City in the suburb of Sillery.it is not within the walls but an easy 20 minutes to the old city.
It is a boutique hotel. The reception was very efficient and friendly. They speak both languages French and English well and willingly.
The rooms are spacious, well appointed and the beds most comfortable.
I was hoping for a less conventional decor. It is still pretty much cookie cutter North American decor albeit of very good quality.
Breakfast is extra. There was no coffee maker in the room just a Nespresso machine of some kind
along with several snacks , all available for a fee.
Parking is plentiful and free which is a bonus in Quebec City.

“Nice comfortable bed but not fancy!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012 via mobile

I love the king bed. Omg! The mattress and pillows were very soft and comfortable. The bed sheet was clean and soft too.. All about bed was cool! But the room was small and not fancy. There were many hotels around that location. You could find one you like. From parking lot, you could get nice shots facing to the bridge and beautiful view.
Anyway, one thing that annoyed us, was the smell of smoke in the bathroom :( my husband called them right away after we came in and found out! The service was good. The lady tried to fix it by giving us an air purifier..and tried to speak English :) [ya most of them speak French ] Thanks for your concern anyway
