“Perfect for breakfast...ok and afternoon treats!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Great breakfast pastries and breads, amazing coffee - then come back after walking the city for a treat in the afternoon from their individual, european style, cakes....also try their macaroons - all excellent.
The do a decent lunch, soups and sandwiches using their breads. Leave with a bag of baguettes and pastries to take home!!

“I would go back to Quebec just to go here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

We ate breakfast here daily and snacks too, even taking some food for our trip home. Everything is spectacular! HIGHLY recommend the Cheese Bread! My daughters had wonderfully rich, thick bowls of hot chocolate.

“Quick, convenient, and tasty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

Cafeteria ambience, boulangerie taste. We had the privilege of eating Paillard's exquisite pastries daily, courtesy of our Hotel du Vieux Quebec. We were very sad to say goodbye to these indulgences. Salads and sandwiches are also excellent.

“France in Quebec city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

If you feel like a coffee, lunch or just want a "vienoiserie" Paillard is the place to go!!! They have an extensive choice there and a great cafe to seat and enjoy while is snowing outside!!! It is quiet expensive I think but well worth it!

“Need this in Ontario!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

Great selection and quality. Ordering system a little confusing at first (baked goods and coffee in one line, sandwiches and meals in another) and wall menu is very difficult to read. Tried to get in for lunch but line-up was over-whelming. I assume everything is made to order which takes time but I couldn't help but think a process engineer or even my mom could organize things a little better. The lure of fresh croissants and mortgage free latte's that you can actually drink (re-McCafe) will overcome any reservations you have about standing in line.
