“large comfortable rooms, boutique atmosphere, great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

Loved this hotel centrally located in the lower town near restaurants, walk to farmers' market, shopping, pubs and the cruise line terminal. Breakfast was very good and reception service was superb. Rooms are unique and spacious with exposed brick and stone walls and all modern conveniences including hairdryer and bathrobes. It was an easy location to get to all the historical sites and walk to the upper town. I would stay there again and recommend it to others. The pictures on the website accurately reflect the rooms and amenities.

“Best price-quality ratio for family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

Funny enough, this charming hotel mostly attract couples with its nice suites, charming brick walls, cosy atmosphere.

But the suites, at least the ones offering 2 queen bed (in seperate but not totally isolated rooms) and a couch, are also pretty good for families with kids. It is not more expensive then renting 2 rooms, you benefit from a nice kitchen table to play games, a nice fireplace to relax, bathroom is very functional for 2 persons to use in the morning for teeth brushing and the like...and the location is close to perfect.

And the breakfast buffet makes it easy for parents too! And the wifi works perfectly in the suite! So you can read by the fire with a glass of wine, while your teens surf the net and your youngest makes a puzzle!

“Good location, modern, friendly hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

We were only at the hotel for a quick, one night stop on our way to Montreal, it was a decent price with a good location.
Hotel Le Priori is a pretty, upscale hotel, with clean rooms and modern immenities. It was a mix of very modern with the old brick and stone. Good sized room with an LCD TV,that had a good selection of channels. Nice clean bathroom. My only issue was the sink located outside the bathroom, it seemed a little random. Although it was nice and quiet, had a beautiful view of the water and a very comfortable bed.
The staff were friendly and spoke clear english.
The breakfast was OK, but they had great coffee.
Overall, would stay here again, and would reccommend to others.

Dear Kerry A,

Thank you very much for posting the first review of 2013! We wish you a very happy new year!

We are glad to read you had a nice stay with us! Your kind words about our team have been passed on! Your nice comments about our coffee and our rooms are very appreciated. Space is a prized commodity in Old Quebec and we are studying other options to include the sink in the bathroom without altering the spirit of our rooms.

Your recommendation is very valuable to us: merci beaucoup!

We will be delighted to welcome you soon!

“Very comfortable and great location.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

This hotel is ideally located among the restaurants and shops of the lower town of old Quebec. It's friendly and welcoming. Rooms are unique and blend well into the old building with exposed brick and stone. It's not a full service hotel but it's ideal if you are in Quebec to enjoy the sights and great restaurants. Really nice break from the chains I stay in for business travel.

“Perfectly Captures the Past and Present”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2012

Le Priori is where sleek, modern fixtures marry old world charm to create a unique and memorable setting. We booked a few nights here over Labor Day weekend; most area hotels were full on Fri and Sat b/c of a Madonna concert. Priori was the only hotel that conveyed this info. to us, which was very helpful in our planning (we ended up going to Montreal first and arrived in QC on Sunday). Having never been to QC before, we were concerned that this hotel would be a trek from many of the sights to see, but we discovered that it was a comfortable walk from everywhere we wanted to be.

The room was clean and well situated with windows overlooking the cobblestone street. Water pressure in the shower was excellent and the bed was really comfortable as well. We had plenty of space to spread out. Le Priori's staff was so pleasant and they were instrumental in helping my hubby arrange a surprise flower delivery for my birthday. We really appreciated their (and the manager's) thoughtfulness - they had balloons and a complimentary bottle of champagne greeting us in the room to start the celebrations!

Breakfast didn't vary from day to day…the setup was nice but food selection wasn't too glamorous. Quite enough to start your day though.

We paid for the parking option, which was very convenient and less than a 5 min. walk from the hotel. We had a great experience at Le Priori and would gladly stay there again. Maybe on a Fri/Sat next time as many restaurants/events were closed on Sunday and Monday!
