“Good, solid hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

Stayed here as a family of four over Easter weekend. The hotel was easy to find and located in a central area in the old town of Quebec. The room was decent size and quiet-- we had switched from a larger room that looked onto the busy street with a potentially loud bar/restaurant across the street. The bathroom was a bit tight but good amenities. We did use the pool once or twice and it was adequate for a recreational swim. We also uses the sauna which was a nice bonus. The front desk people were friendly. We also ate dinner at their fairly high end restaurant which was fantastic. The cuisine was really creative and unusual but good (even for the kids).

Hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance to sights, restaurants and shopping. Spacious room was comfortable, although a bit too dark. As mentioned in a previous review, room needs more lamps/brighter light bulbs. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Valet parking was quick and easy. Swimming pool kept the kids happy. Overall a great stay!

Had a great stay at this beautiful hotel. It is centrally located in Old Town and within walking distance to everything. You do have to climb 22 steps every time you enter so that could be a problem for some--but the city itself has LOTS of steps. We paid for the valet parking everyday and it was well worth the $22 to not have the hassle of finding parking.
I wish breakfast was included or not ridiculously expensive--we went to Paillard every morning as it was right around the corner.

Everyone was very helpful and spoke English if you needed it.

Spent two nights at the Manoir Victoria. The location is great. The hotel is nicely appointed and has two restaurants -- a smaller café at which we enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and a swankier trendy restaurant as well (which we did not try).

The rooms are clean and comfortable -- with free WiFi!

Definitely would stay here again upon return to Quebec City.

Room Tip: We had a double room, which was mostly separated by an in-wall closet. This is nice for a friends o...

We arrived by car at this hotel and the bellhop helped us with our Iuggage and took my husband's bicycle to a storage room where he was conveniently able to get to it instead of bringing it up to the room. I should note there is a long staircase up into the hotel once you are in the lobby. If this is a problem, you may be able to enter through the restaurant to avoid the stairs but you would have to verify that with the hotel. The room on the fifth floor was a decent size, very clean and we were pleasantly surprised to have a balcony as there are only about 2 of those rooms in the hotel. At night we were able to sit on the balcony and listen to the live music coming from the cafes below. When we shut the door to the balcony, we could not hear a thing. We did not eat in the hotel as there are so many restaurants nearby. The location is great, we were able to walk everywhere and where right in the heart of it all. At night the main streets become pedestrian only. My daughter did use the gym, it was small but fine. The spa area looked beautiful as did the indoor pool. I would go back and most certainly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Think I was in room 513 with the balcony.

In the centre of old Quebec City this hotel provides excellent accommodation for a tourist visit. It's within walking distance of everything in the Old City and Port and very close to the restaurants and other attractions just outside the city walls. Very quite large rooms - even the ones overlooking the Main Street - and the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in.
Recommended highly.

Hotel Manoir Victoria is in a great location on Rue du Palais intersecting Rue St. Jean. The rooms are clean and comfortable and my friend and I delighted in the fact that our 2 queen size beds were separated by a room for an extra tranquil sleep. The staff and service were superb. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet that offered fresh maple syrup and crepes and a variety of choices. This hotel has a swimming pool and spa so it is ideal for a relaxing stay. During the summer festival the location is ideal, as the hotel is situated next to the main street so it was a sound proof stay while being conveniently located in the action of Quebec City. I highly recommend this hotel. Bon voyage!
