I arrived at 1020 Mon night. the receptionists never greeted me. I gave them my name, and showed them my id and asked what time the restuarant closed. they told me 11, gave me my room keys, and i went to rm 792 and my keys did't work. I went back down and told them, they just said oh, and gave me new keys. I went back only to find out I was entering an occupied room. I got yelled at by the man in the rm in French, and apoligized but I don't know that he understood me, so I showed him my rm key and that they gave it to me down stairs, and went back down. they said does your key still not work? I told them yes, but there is someone already staying in there. They said oh so you need a different room? I told them I needed my own rm and I would like to hurry because it was getting late, and I was hungry, and all of my stuff was heavy. they never offered assitance or an apology to me. I took my stuff to the new room, and left it there. I went to the rest, and asked if I could just sit at the bar. It was 1035. he said yes the bar is open. I asked what about the rest, and he said no, it was closed. I told him that Katherine and I think her name was Isabella told me they closed at 11, and that I had just arrived, and he said very well then, here is a menu.
Needless to say, I was less than impressed w the service, and especially the employees. I walked in on a man sleeping in his room!!!! I couldn't imagine if that happened to me. When you travel for a living, your hotel room should be as secure as your home for the night, because that it what it is! I will NEVER recommend this property to anyone! I am a female who travels alone and was scared the entire stay that the front desk may make the same mistake with my room! No one ever attempted to make it right. I traveled 12 1/2 hrs to get to the hotel from Texas, and I told the girls that at checkin and they still offered nothing! Not even a complimentary dinner, much less a comped night, and I wasn't going to dare ask for one. The lack of service and concern for the customers was quiet clear to me. I wouldn't rate them poorly, I wouldn't offer them a rating at all.

I must admit that this is not a normal case at the Delta Québec, and we are deeply sorry for what happened during your stay. Your constructive comment helps us to improve the quality of our product and services, as we are going through the situation to avoid the repetition of this case.
