This is a perfectly fine hotel w/in 20 mins walking distance to Old Quebec. The rooms were clean and adequate and the staff was friendly. There is no breakfast included, but there is a Dunkin Donuts around the block which held us off until we could eat a proper meal in the walled city. We stayed here w/children aged 3 and 5 and I think the location is too far from Old Quebec. Even though there is a free elevator at the end of the street which takes you up a level, it's still a lot of uphill walking. I love walking
but I think we spent too much time walking to get to where we wanted to walk. This ended up exhausting our kids earlier than we wanted. They did, however, love running down each block at the end of the day. The pool was small but the kids liked it anyway. If you are traveling w/young children, I would rec staying near Grand Allee i.e. higher up the hill. However, if we had come here just as a couple, the place is more than adequate.

We stayed 2 nights in the Best Western 'Centre' Village during our New england (extended) Trip.
The staff is friendly, the rooms were okay.
Good parking facilities. Breakfast is okay.
20 minute walk to the lovely old city.

The Best Western Centre Ville in Quebec is a good hotel.
It's certainly not a luxury hotel, but for the price we've paid it was really good !
Rooms are big, clean, and the bathroom is top notch.
Staff VERY friendly and helpful, definitely the best staff I've ever met !
There is also a nice swimming pool and a restaurant.
Hotel is well situated in Downtown Quebec (not in the old city).
Frankly, the hotel is very near from the Old City Center, but I'm European, and I'm used to walk much more than an American, so this is a "Euro- point de vue"...
I would definitely stay there again !

Well renovated, very clean room. About 10 minutes walking (up) to Old Quebec City.

Stay away from ''inside'' view room. Like an inside cruise liner cabine, you have no outside view (inside atrium).
