“Also lively with great shops”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

When in Quebec City, I always go down to the Old Port. Great restaurants, lots of people, and many shops.

“Not much to do in this area”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

We walked down to the Old Port, as we originally were going to rent a condo in that area. It was okay, but there were only a couple of streets of antique shops, restaurants and other small shops. I definitely think our choice of staying in the Old City area instead of the Old Port area was a good choice.

“LOTS of great strolling!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

What a wonderful place to spend a few days walking, strolling, eating, shopping and people watching. There are few better, frankly, unless you are in Europe, that have the same atmosphere. Lovely architecture, a very clean area, luscious floral boxes in windows and in urns, a wide variety of people.... excellent place to spend the day!

“St Lawrence is very interesting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

This is a beautiful port. A cruise ship was in and a lot of people were ashore making for great people watching. Plenty of cafes and shops.

“Watching the ships sail by”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

Walking around the Old Port was fun. We could see different cruise ships docked every day. We watched people coming and going along the bike and pedestrian paths. And we walked the paths from one end to the Lower Town.
