Relax in this beautiful garden filled with flowers. We enjoyed dinner in the park. Picnic tables very close by.

“In Battlefield Park, a great garden to take a break”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

The statue and garden are lovely. It makes a great place to pause on the way to the excellent Musee National des Beaux Arts.

The gardens are very well maintained and there are many benches to rest.

“Park - with her statue on horseback”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

Lovely garden in the English style - sitting areas which are good for a picnic; there is also a wheelchair ramp. Close to some interesting houses/residence buildings. Enjoyable on a sunny afternoon for about a 1 hour sit and relax and nibble.

“Nice flowers and gardens around the statue”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

It is very easy to find: near the Loews (huge hotel with round restaurant on top).
There is an interactive computer at the beginning of the garden to explain the flowers and plants, very peaceful.

“Worth a Visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

Joan's statue is in the Parc des Champs de Bastille. This time of year (July) the flowers are in bloom. 150 species. Joan, on her horse is in the middle. Interesting plaque tells about the people who donated the statue. Read it. Walk through the garden and you will see a round tower to the right and another tower about a block away on the left facing the St. Lawrence. These are martellos and are defensive forts. You can tour the one overlooking the river. There is a fee and the tour is guided by an ipad so you can take as long or short as you like. My son was fascinated and my grandson thinks he now knows how to load a flintlock. If you are interested in my 4 day comprehensive itinerary of Quebec City email me at bdgmgr@gmail.com
