“Paris en scène”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

The exhibit Paris en scène was wonderful. We easily spent an hour and a half enjoying the exhibit. Make sure to ask for the headphones (English or French) - they really make the experience come to life as you walk from area to area the music and the talking (very little talking) automatically know where you are! You really get a sense of the belle époque!

“Perfect on a Rainy Day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

The exhibit on the evolution of computer games was very well done....we also enjoyed the exhibit on Paris in the early 1900's. The café could have been more reasonably priced.

“Very good museum covering a wide topic”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

Excellent except for almost all the signs on exhibits being too small and too low requiring you to bend over to read most of them. Some displays and exhibits are dirty and dusty.Excellent theme context and well curated.Didn't understand the first nation treatment as well as other museums. Why New Zealand.Still don't understand the basic Quebec independence mentality and how the current politics ties in with the historic development.Although,USA politics could benefit from a 3rd or 4th viable political party.

“Paris Without the Jet Lag”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

The current exhibition, Paris Without the Jet Lag, is not to be missed! It's worth making a special trip to Québec City to enjoy this incredible collection of Parisian memorabilia from the Belle Époque Paris on Stage. Using space, sound and light it encourages one to become a flâneur and stroll through an exciting era on display. I particularly enjoyed seeing a photograph of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec working in his studio and a few magnificent costumes created for the divine Sarah Bernhardt.

While at the Musee, I had a wonderful lunch in their restaurant, Cafe 47. Thus fortified, I returned to the exhibit to take another look.
