This bed and breakfast will be the benchmark by which all others will be measured for us. 10/10
Rob was a wonderful host when we first arrived and just a little bit later than expected. The room we had was gorgeous and, uh, romantic (indeed) as well the whole house was very relaxing. We were also very fortunate to have other guests there that were very pleasant to share the breakfast table with (Hi to the Princess and her entourage).
Montreal is a great city made even more wonderful after talking to both Joel and Rob about it. Work to live as Joel said; words to live by. And their home, conversation and graciousness will make it very hard to not want to go back to continue to be part of the whole adventure.
The room was nice, lots of storage for clothing for a few days, a clean and spacious bathroom (for an older home it was very spacious) and the common areas were very well thought out and pleasant.
I certainly hope they can keep things going for themselves. I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Montreal for any reason. We stayed at a hotel for a convention we attended and wished so much we had continued to stay here instead. Thanks, guys.
