Pardon the lame attempt at a multilingual pun, but I'm very tired. What wasn't lame was our experience with La Strega. Recommended by the manager of our B&B as the place locals go for inexpensive but damn fine pasta we walked the 12 blocks in a light rain. I will gladly do that walk again. Fresh hot crusty rolls appeared immediately, followed by a complementary hot garlicky bruscetta. Everyone enjoyed their starters: eggplant lasagna and butterfly pasta with smoked salmon were faves. Four different mains were raved over: canneloni, chicken parmesan, a melon and proscuitto salad and one other I can't remember. Not at all fancy, but done so well, and clearly homemade. It has a limited wine list, but who cares. Go for the pasta!
