I'm not a huge fan of Italian food, but as we perused the menu posted at Mozza a young man dining nearby urged us to try the chef's specialty. Most included seafood, and all sounded interesting. I ordered pasta in a cream sauce, covered with shredded dark chocolate.
All specials come with Caesar salad, soup or bruschetta. We didn't try the soup, but the salad and bread were very good. Everything was delicious, but I need to mention the drink situation.
We were told immediately by the server that it's a "BYOB" restaurant, but we hadn't planned on that. Wine would have been nice, and I wish he'd have mentioned (as one of the earlier reviewers) that a wine store is quite close. More of an issue for me is that the only drink choices were Pepsi and Diet Pepsi. No lemonade, ginger ale, etc. This seems a bit short-sighted.
So we stuck with water, and the servers were very good about keeping our glasses topped up.
All in all, I'd recommend you give Mozza for an out-of-the ordinary Italian meal, but come prepared with the beverage of your choice. Also, they didn't have an English menu, although the French one included a short glossary on the back. Would have made ordering easier if they had included both languages.
