“Great place, well reccommended”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

Being a Brit I usually assume all Irish pubs will have bicycles stuck to the ceiling and everyone will talk about the 'Craic' and giggle. Thankfully this isn't the case here! Went with some friends whilst in town and had a fantastic evening. The bar staff were brilliant, the beers well kept and served well. Food was also great. Although I am usually an advocate of 'doing as the locals do' whilst overseas, I genuinely enjoyed this place and would return the next time I am in town.

“Hurley's Irish Pub”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

During all my previous visits to Montreal I have always ensured I paid a visit to Hurley’s, the atmosphere, and staff are always a talking point, even more so on a Friday or Saturday evening, although on both of these nights it can get packed. Food is good, but typically big portions

“If you cant visit Ireland ...visit Hurleys when in Montreal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

As a frequent visitor to Ireland I get to try out a lot of pubs. As a frequent visitor to Montreal it's Hurleys for me to get the Irish pub atmosphere . There are a lot of reasons. First of all the staff..It's a warm welcome everytime you visit...after becoming a bit of a regular , flying to Montreal 5 or 6 times a year, I am now greeted by name, and even poured my favourite pint.THere are snugs, but I love to sit around the bar..seems like the patrons have the same friendly welcome as the staff. I've always met great folk, had great craic, and even made friends. then there is the music , first class every night of the week, a session on Saturday afternoons in the snug....come in and enjoy always a part of the pub offerings...no cover, or as least as I know ....Dont miss the pub food...as good as you get anywhere , well priced , big portions and even some dishes like guiness stew , and lamb ....there are countless pints on tap and lots and lots of whiskies.....as well as any other drink you desire,,, dont forget to drop in on the weekend for breakfast ....if you were out late last nght try the fry up...last week I had the luck of sharing breakfast around the bar with a group of seven irish gentlemen :) who had a late night ...they were working in toronto and visited Montreal for the weekend ...the wit and laughter was worth it all...oh by the way to let you know just how great the staff can be...on saturday afternoon waiting to cross the street in downtown montreal, one of the bartenders came up and greeted me by name,, where else would that happen....and on a previous visit the bar owner was in house and offered those of us a whiskey....

“Good Irish Pub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

I am from the UK, so know a thing or two about pubs. This is a good, fairly authentic Irish pub. As authentic as an Irish pub in Quebec can be. Me and my Wife spent many hours in here one cold Friday afternoon. The people working there are all really friendly. We sat at the bar, and they all put up with our increasingly drunken ramblings.
Would definitely come back.
