This was an odd spur of the moment choice for lunch in Montreal, but it was so very rewarding.
We started with the hot beet consume. Quite good indeed.
My wife had the assorted Pierogi. They were as light and delicate as a cloud. Not a bit of gumminess or over thick pastry. Each was flavorful, and perfectly made.
I had the Golabki, stuffed cabbage rolls. As good as my grandmother's, but a bit spicier. My waiter and I agreed that we were more fond of the sweeter version. But these just delicious.
Service was excellent.
