Visited Mythos for a birthday party and ordered the tasting menu (49$). After reading TA reviews, I was a little bit skeptical of visiting this place. Parking on a Saturday night in the Mile-End is a mess but, if you can walk, the streets of Outremont are nice to walk in and in no time, you will be at Mythos.
Food is above par for a Greek restaurant of this nature. If you are 4, they are pushing for the Tasting menu and is honestly a good choice if you want to sample what the house is capable of. Octopus is great, fried eggplant chips are not to oily and meat platter is way enough. We were two couples and both left with leftovers.
We were seated downstairs were music is played and yes, it gets really noisy and difficult to speak with others. We left just before midnight and people were starting to dance to Greek music.
In all, not a bad choice but, be aware, the expenses add up pretty quickly. As in all Montreal's restaurants, alcohol is expensive. (wine and beer)
