Beautifully furnished, nice atmosphere, lovely window table if you can get it. The manager was more than happy to help us with directions and tips on other restaurants, and our itinerary for the next day! We were given mini bruschetta, warm bread and olives as an appetizer, all complimentary. I had the French onion soup to start, and my wife had the fresh asparagus wih a flame grilled pepper - both excellent. For the main, I had the lamb shank and my wife had the entrecôte sauce dijonnaise - again, both excellent. Neither of us could fault any part of the service, food, atmosphere, wine - I highly recommend an evening here. It will be the first place we go if we return to Montreal, which we hope to one day! Note that it is a little more than you might pay elsewhere - but there is a very good reason for that and you won't regret it. Two starters, two mains, coffee, bottle of water, bottle of wine was £120 and worth every penny.
