This little bistro was recommended by the front desk of our hotel. They said if you wanted real French style food with a very intimate setting this was the place to go. We walked from our hotel; Hotel Du Fort. It's was only a few blocks away. We stopped to pick up a bottle of wine also - not licensed.
We walked in and were greeted by a very pleasant server. He showed us right to a table and opened the wine. He explained the different menu options; a la carte & 4 course. We picked the 4 course.
Cream of Vegetable soup warmed us up as the first course. The asparagus salad was plated so beautifully, and tasted delicious. I had the filet mignon on a potato bed. Cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. He had the rack of lamb - equally as tender and moist. Dessert was a choice of 4. I picked the apple tart - I wanted more, the pastry was so light. He went off menu to the a la carte; Creme brûlée (his favourite)
