First, i was born and raised in switzerland. Last night me and two other people had a lovely meal at alpenhaus. Wait staff was efficient and very friendly. The onion soup was outstanding, the cheese used for it was just better than anywhere else i've had it. Main course was the veal emince in a mushroom sauce "zürigeschnetzeltes" accompanied by a homemade hash brown with bacon "Berner Rösti" which is a very traditional swiss dish. The owner told me they use swiss spices, which explaines why the food really tastes authenticly swiss. Half way through the meal we became good friends with the chef the service. To top it off we were served a traditional swiss liquor. The piano player is a good addition to the really cozy atmosphere. Food quality|portions|price is very fair. i will be back soon
