“Great Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013 via mobile

My family and I visited Montreal and my dad booked the Courtyard Marriott's king and sofa bed room. I was just told we were staying at the Airport Marriott so I ended up looking up info for the wrong hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 11pm and the front desk clerk still seemed fully awake and we received smile with a service, which I didn't expect late at night. We then went to our room which was nice and fully clean. The down side was the room appeared a bit small but that was because of the layout. The hotel had a GoBoard in the lobby which was a touch screen tv that could alert you on stuff like weather and stocks. The restaurant looked very nice including the breakfast buffet (which we didnt attend) and they were happy to supply us with some butter because the food we got from another place forgot it. The location was good and bad at the same time, to get into the city we had to drive for about 7 minutes to get to the subway then after the subway arrived it would take about 15 minutes to get to montreal. Though, near the hotel was an east side Mario's, a McDonald's, a movie theatre and of course the airport. The only downside is that there wasn't free breakfast.

We stayed here on June 22. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful. Check in only took us 5 minutes. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Our children enjoyed the swimming pool which was clean and welcoming. This hotel is going through minor reservation (Restaurant and Bar) but it did not interfere with our stay. There are many restaurants near by and a movie theater within walking distance. I asked the front desk to check out late and they accommodated our request without any hesitation. We will definitely stay here during our next trip to Montreal. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Just ask the staff at the front desk.

The Courtyard by Marriott Montreal Airport was undergoing renovations while we were there. The main lobby was closed and we had to enter the small temporary lobby through the back of the hotel. Because of the renovation work, only one elevator was working and it was very slow and crowded. For this reason I would not recommend staying there until the work is completed, supposedly by the end of June. Other than that, the hotel was quite nice and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel offers a small business center with free wifi, free parking, and free local telephone calls. We did not eat in the restaurant, but the clerk recommended a nice place not far away. There is a separate rate if you want breakfast included, but we didn't think it was worth the price and ate at a nearby McDonalds. There were no other restaurants within walking distance, which would be a problem if you don't have a car. Our room was clean and comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The rate was much better than downtown hotels, so if you don't need to stay in the city it's a good choice. We would not hesitate to stay there again once the construction is completed.

Stayed here for a week on a business trip. The room was well appointed and the free wifi worked without a hitch. What was the stand out feature for me was how clean the unit was. Everything was spotless.

The only issues I had was the location was in a souless business park but so was where I was working so I can't really fault them for that. The other issue I had was the onsite eating/drinking options where expensive.

Overall I would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last weekend. Check in was a breeze, the room was new, very clean and comfortable. The hotel has ample free parking. There are many restaurants, movie theaters and shopping in the area. Its right on the highway making it easy to get to downtown.

The only issue we had was the lack of pressure in the shower.

Room Tip: Maybe the lower floors have better water pressure.

Here for two days on a business trip. The hotel is in a primarily industrial area surrounded by highways, with a multiplex cinema complex nearby the only walkable attraction. The cab ride to get you anywhere prettier will cost $ 25 or more.
