“Great Museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

My wife and I went here. It was a lot of fun to see the different wax figures and take pictures of them. It takes about an hour and you can make a video of yourself dressed up and you get a free coffee.

“Surprising in many ways”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

Visited with a friend, on a Friday morning ( her 2nd visit). Very few people that morning, so the 'interactive' portion was quiet and well appreciated. Loved the very first 'tunnel' with the changing lights, as well as the 6 minute show !!
The reproductions are quite lifelike, especially for the men, and older individuals, somehow. It was nice to be able to identify everyone ( red plaques) when memory or historical knowledge failed.
Really enjoyed each 'theme' rooms: great setups. Got to meet my fav sports & movie celebrities!!
Take as long as you like and enjoy. Make sure you create your own wax persona. Make it fun & spunky.
I will go back.

“Interactive museum”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2013

No doubt, very well done. Some of the reproductions look so realistic that you wonder if they are real or not. Others are not as easy to recognize but they are well identified. Nice transition from Canadian, past and present and International individuals.
I went alone to visit on a Thursday afternoon. It was very quiet in the museum. So, when you first come in (after purchasing your ticket), you need to go up 3 flights of stairs, in the dark, then walk in long corridor and wait for a movie to start. No employees to be seen to explain what will happen. When the doors to the movie open, you just stand in the room, closed doors, and the recording says that you need to stay there and wait for the doors to reopen. I did not feel safe during that time, hence did not enjoy the movie. After the movie, when the doors to the museum opens, then you can enjoy the visit.

There is an interactive part to the visit and I would have like to have someone to explain/assist us in taking part. There was no assistance and that was missing because it could have been interesting.

The nice part is that you can stand right beside them and have you picture taken with them - nothing is roped off.

I did find it a little bit expensive even if you get a free coffee at the end of the visit.

“A new experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

Something new for me being for the first time in Montreal. Good choice of my friend and a new and great experience for me. I enjoyed seeing so very good wax reproductions of so many celebrities. The great and unique surprise was seeing my favorite Canadian actor Roy Dupuis... at least I could meet him in this way because I could not other way... A super, cool experience and had such good time for almost 2 hours spent there...

“interesting wax museum”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

Small wax museum but with some very good reproductions, movie stars, rock stars etc. The big surprise was the workshop at the end of the tour, where you create your own wax face. Emailed to you later. Cool.
