We stayed at D&D's in December 05. We had not been to Montreal before and we were a little apprehensive about the cold and not sure which area of the city we should stay in...
We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay than D&D's. Dorothy and David were so welcoming and made us feel so at home. The bedrooms were absolutely immaculate: tasteful, cosy and very comfortable with lots of thoughtful extras and very elegant en suite bathrooms.
Each morning we really looked forward to getting up to eat the delicious breakfasts and chat with Dorothy and David. We're still talking about those breakfasts!
The location of the B&B is also excellent. We easily navigated our way around the city and visited the local Atwater market which we were very impressed with.
We definitely recommend this B&B and also Montreal in December. It was so charming in the snow!

We recently spent our first ever visit to Canada staying at this terrific B&B in Monreal and what a treat it was!!! Dorothy and David were perfect hosts providing ever comfort we could possibly wish for, superb breakfasts and lots of information on Montreal. We could not have asked for anything better and hope we have the opportunity to stay here again.

D&D’s B&B Review


Our team of four women recently left their busy lives behind to attend a conference in Montreal. For a full week D& D’s B & B offered an escape from the chaos and responsibility of work, home and family that is our usual reality.
From the welcoming atmosphere, creative décor, incredible breakfasts to the little touches; soothing bath salts and scrubs, fragrant linens, body conforming beds and homemade cookies, the experience was one treat and after another. As Dorothy and David live in the adjacent building, we were ensured our privacy. We enjoyed the convenience of bathrooms connected to each room as well as access to the lounge/library area, a wonderfully landscaped patio, and kitchen facilities.
Dorothy and David were gracious and helpful hosts providing suggestions and directions to orchestrate our sightseeing, shopping and social activities. They were also flexible and accommodated our conference scheduling. A short walk to the subway gave way to quick and easy transport all over the city.
Breakfasts were fabulous; taste and presentation, with good conversation and laughs on the side, all complemented our experience….feeding our bellies and our souls!
Our only regret…not being able to spend more time there! Given the opportunity, we will cetainly go back! D&D’s B&B, a TRUE COMFORT AWAY FROM HOME!

D&D's B&B is one of the nicest you will find anywhere. Located in a middle class area with a small park with a fountain just down the street, a metro stop a block and a half or four blocks away and the Atwater Market just another two blocks from there, you can feel right at home in a relatively short time. A coulple of very nice neighborhood restaurants are also within walking distance. Gourmet dining is to be found right at the B&B with the delicious and beautifully presented breakfasts that Dorothy delivers every morning at 9:00. Right next to the breakfast room is a garden patio just perfect for an outside espcape or the cozy TV room on the other side of the kitchen for evening chatter with the other lovely folks you are lucky enough to meet. There is a bit of a climb to get to the main floor and to the second floor where I stayed. All is worth it when you sink into the lovely clawfooted tub with bath salts provided by D&D and a skylight (in my bathroom) to gaze above if you so desire. You may also reserve a massage, given in a lovely little room on the second floor. Now, that's what I call service! Dorothy and David have provided all the little details and amenities that one could want in this beautiful and very homey B&B. Well done! Would definetly come here again and again!
Also, as a woman on her own, I felt very comfortable and safe walking in this area.
