“Fantastic hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

First, before I even arrived, I had emailed them asking about transportation choices and was very promptly emailed back (~ 30mins). There is staff 24hrs at the front desk and every time we met someone new, they were equally as gracious and welcoming. The room itself was clean and quiet. Receiving breakfast to our room was a great bonus. It generally included croissants, muffins, juice, jam, yogurt, and fruit.

The location is awesome. It's within walking distance to a lot of great destinations: Old Montreal, St. Denis, The Village/Latin Quarter, and we even decided to walk to the Underground City. Otherwise, the metro station is literally across the street and the bus station is around the corner.

I have absolutely no complaints and highly recommend Auberge le Pomerol. I would definitely stay there again!

This auberge is really cozy and easy to find. Near everything you need from restaurant, to shopping and spas. We really loved the breakfast in the morning. The service is excellent. Chantal, at the reception is very friendly and professional. The parking is secure and cheap compared to other parking lots.

If we ever go to Montreal, we will stay at auberge Le Pomerol. We left with some great memories!

This review does not reflect my stay but outstanding customer service.

Due to a death in my immediate family I had to cancel a holiday weekend stay at the Auberge Le Pomerol at the last minute. Even though it was after the cutoff to avoid being charged, the hotel made an exception for the extraordinary circumstances and wrote a very nice email to me.

I have other friends in the hotel who were able to attend the festival I am missing and they are very happy with the hotel quality, but I am merely writing to say I am very appreciative that the hotel had a heart when it came to our sad time. I am very hopeful that I'll make it to the festival next year and will certainly book with Auberge Le Pomerol.

Staying at this hotel, we were as happy as can be. The rooms, being clean but small, was very cozy. It is located near a series of delicious restaurants and a metro. You get breakfast everyday in a small basket delivered to your door, but if you are not satisfied or want more, go downstairs for a great variety of foods to pick from. There also free snacks starting at 3 pm to 11 pm. The staff are helpful and kind. The WiFi is free in your room, with a safe and secure password. Another treat is that their is a restaurant in the hotel itself, with an appealing menu and waiters. Your room will also contain of a comfortable bed, a medium-sized TV, a coffee machine, an extremely clean bathroom, and finally, a lot of comfortable chairs. There is no swimming pool, but the shower is really warm, so that is your ticket to making yourself happy even though there's no pool. Knowing this hotel earned a Certificate of Excellence in 2012, we were happy staying at delightful hotel.

Room Tip: A/C can be confusing use if its your first time. All rooms have a nice window view.

A quaint, cozy hotel, this establishment is a bit secluded from the hustle of Rue St-Catherine. It is convenient to travel to and from; it's at Beri-UQAM Metro and on the bus line from YUL airport. The service was friendly and welcoming. And they provide a nifty continental breakfast daily to you door. I did not have a chance to try the restaurant in the lobby, but the menu looked appealing. The WiFi is free, but connection is weaker in a room on the periphery. If the price is right, give it a try!

Found it on tripadviser and spent a weeknight there on business. Excellent location in the heart of all the restaurants and the Latin Quarter, quiet, clean room and super friendly staff. Would go back again to Le Pomerol!

We recently spent 6 nights in this really nice little Montreal hotel. The room was extremely clean. The staff was attentive and helpful. The hotel is well located close to restaurants and the metro. And the complementary breakfast basket is a great treat. We look forward to returning to Le Pomerol!
