“Great place for a good price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2013

I have been here with my girlfriend Shirley at the end of our trip true Canada in the summer of 2013 which we ended in Montreal. The owners are really nice guys, know how to treat guests and they know the way around and they recommended us some nice bars and restaurants which we visited. The rooms are quite small but clean though. The breakfast was great and we had a few laughs with other guests. The terrace at the back was nice for a glass of wine. The B&B located in a neighborhood full of bars, restaurants and nearby 2 metro stations. We had a great time and would stay here again!

Second time Visiting this wonderful B&B. It is the perfect get away from our own B&B and Restaurant close to Jay Peak in Northern VT. We understand the business and these guys do it well. Always accommodating and nothing is a problem. Perfect suggestions on dining, drinking and clubbing all in the neighborhood. Parking on site too. And the sweetest dog. What's not to love? We will be back again soon. Scott & Nick

We always seem to test Montreal weather with our off-season vacations. We made a four-day visit the beginning of November. It was one of our best stays ever. We spent a lot of time in the BBV relaxing and resting and even though the house was nearly full, it was comfortably quiet. I don't know if the pillows were new, but they were heaven to sleep on, nap on or fluff up behind me while I worked online. Of course our room and all the common areas of the house are amazingly immaculate. The breakfast table was filled with great selections and an interesting assortment of people to meet and chat with. It is a wonderful way to start your day in Montreal. Philippe and Nicholas make you feel at home and are warm and gracious to everybody, going above and beyond to make your visit as pleasant as they possibly can. The few times the weather got a little "funky" it was great to be just a few steps from the Metro. The BBV can easily feel like a home away from home with all the pluses there are to enjoy.

Room Tip: We enjoy the rooms with private bath, but have never heard anyone have a problem with the shared bat...

My husband and I spent two evenings here and we were very impressed with the service and cleanliness. It is located within walking distance to many cafes and the Metro. We loved the warm croissants and delicious homemade preserves. Our room was on the second floor and the bed was very comfortable. Our room was was close to a common gathering area that had couches and a fridge. The hosts were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome.

My hosts were very welcoming and the place was spotless.
Could not have been better. Breakfast was also better than I expected. Would definitely go back!
Could easily walk to old town and metro was only one block away.

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights and were made to feel very welcome. The rooms and bedding were spotless, and the decor throughout was very cool. Very good breakfasts.
The hosts were happy to provide recommendations for places to eat or drink.
Very good location allowing us to walk to so many nearby cafés, restaurants and bars and shopping areas.
Would definitely stay here again.

Our hosts were extremely gracious and the stay was very comfortable, My wife and I loved the breakfasts and really appreciated the quality of BBV. The homemade jams and ketchup were amazing. Much the same as other posters here the lodgings were above standard, Phillipe and Nicolas are wonderful hosts whose demeanor and personalities enhance the experience. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for quality and comfort. The BBv is close to a subway which allow for quick access to the rest of the city and you are within walking distance of Old Montreal. One would be hard pressed to find a better place to stay.
