“Pretty good service; extensive shuttle service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I was here for a work trip. The rooms are clean, in good condition, and adequate. The front desk is responsive to questions and needs, and gave good suggestions for simple self-guided touring of the city. The breakfast was average, and I hear from my colleagues the onsite restaurant is just so-so. Wi-Fi is free and not too slow.

This hotel obvious centers its services towards the aerospace / tech center near the airport. Complimentary shuttles will take you pretty much anywhere you want within several kilometers - including the company campuses, metro stops, nearby restaurants, and the airport. This is important because the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. We reserved the shuttles to the tech campuses and to the airport ahead of time and it always got us where we needed to go in a timely manner. On a night out, my colleagues and I called for a shuttle from the Du Collège metro stop and they showed up within 15 minutes to pick us up (we weren't about to sit in a taxi for an hour to get into the city).

Room Tip: Plan on 20-30 minutes for the shuttle to get to the airport in the morning, as they sometimes pick u...

This hotel is ideal. Close to airport, great service, pool and one of the best restaurants for this type of hotel. The staff are knowledgeable on the locality which is always useful. A shuttle is available to take you to the subway, making Downtown Montreal easily accessible.

Awesome amenities and convenient shuttle to metro towards downtown. Friendly staff and closed parking - felt secure with our two kayaks on top of our car. A little tricky to find if you miss it with few turnarounds on the frontage roads. Misleading ad says it's "minutes from downtown" - those minutes are about 30 if using public transportation.

HIGHLY recommend for airport layovers, though especially if not going downtown. Great pool, hot tub, and a few cardio machines in a small gym.

Room Tip: Ground floor had easy side door access to parking lot, but door slammed at all hours.

We went at this hotel because we did not found rooms available on a busy Friday, but is was not so noisy as we expected. The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable. A little bad surprise that they do not had slippers?! Even if we wanted to buy. 4* hotel and no slippers?! Still was not bad for a night.

Stayed July 2014

room was clean, pool and lobby were clean, guests seemed uptight but calm, maitre d' was a dick, gauged you by what you're wearing, did not offer me any specials, the menu seemed nice but they charge you as if you were eating in your room, every side dish had a price, beef was thin, it tasted good but I might as well have went to Le Bifthèque down the street.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Garden. Everyone was friendly in a very sincere way. The servers at the bar were great! The food too was pretty good! The hotel was clean and in good shape. The bed very comfortable. I was out late every night so I had to sleep sometimes past noon and my room on the first floor was so quiet! I traveled each day to the area of the Rialto theatre on ave du Parc and by car it was about 20 minutes each way...and in that part of town I always found parking on the street. This hotel is near the airport , if you don't have to stay downtown its much cheaper! I would definitely return here.

Room Tip: My room on the first floor was very quiet

Montreal is a busy place in the summer. Hotels can be hard to come by unless you book well in advance. We wanted to be downtown, but the hotels were booked and we needed two rooms with two queens. My review may be slanted by the location.
The hotel itself was very nice. The rooms were clean and modern. The A/C worked well, the water was hot and the water pressure was good. Both rooms have a functioning fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker! The counter staff was relatively good, the pool was great for the kids and the restaurant breakfast was quite good.
Montreal can be a challenging drive for anyone - a lot of one-way streets and highways to go around. This hotel's location (somewhat industrial - not much of a view of anything) is difficult, as are many Montreal Airport hotels. You really need either a good GPS, a good map (and a lot of time) or a working knowledge of driving in the area. Other knocks on this place include many poorly washed dishes at the buffet restaurant, an exit gate from the parking lot that seemed to fail every time I went through it and, as another review pointed out, a towel shortage!!
Parking was $12 per day (outdoor) and breakfast was $15 for the buffet!
My advice - if you are going to be downtown, STAY downtown. You can walk to restaurants and transit. This place means driving if you want to go anywhere, including a drug store or variety store. If you don't care about any of this, the room was good. It was fine, but I likely would not stay there again.
