Maybe our opinion was a bit skewed because we upgraded to the 2 bedroom penthouse suite, which is large, private and very nicely decorated. A two day stay was not nearly long enough. We really didn't want to leave.
The suite has a private terrace with a fantastic view of Montreal and ships in the harbour. The service was mostly impeccable. The room was loaded with amenities and we were left in need of nothing. The rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable.
The location is also perfect for those who want the feeling and ambiance of old Montreal. There is a great restaurant in the Nelligan, and there are a great variety of quality restaurants within a couple of blocks.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.
