“Great Service in the Heart of Downtown”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

If you are shopping, bar hopping, going to museums, or going to business meetings you can't find a better location. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised to have received a complimentary upgrade to a suite before we had even arrived. Nice touch!

The suites are largage and well appointed with a full kitchen, comfortable furniture, elegant bathroom and tasteful decoration. The high-vaulted ceilings are nice too.

All in all, this is a great place to stay.

This is a great hotel with great location to rue St Catherine and the underground city is within a walking distance. Close to McGill University too. The hotel is clean, room have a fully equipped kitchen. If you booked through the Montreal Tourism site you will get a discount rate and a package with discount coupon. It include continental breakfast but unfortunately it ends at around 9ish. The parking cost $22.00 per day. There is a cheaper parking area next to the hotel but not too sure if it is cheaper. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

stayed here for 3 days in late August. Needed some space for us + 2 teenagers. the suites were large with a separate room for us, an alcove double for the teen daughter and a nice, large pullout couch for the teen son. Also, the concierge parking for $20/cn a night was very convenient due to in/out privileges. We did some things we wouldn't have because we could drive to the North side of montreal to more residential areas to shop, explore restaurants as well as ended up at the National Circus and with only a $5 parking fee enjoyed quite a series of shows at TOHU ranging from trapeze, building dance (yes, rapel down side to music and dance via pushing off and spinning, etc.)...my daughter and wife are very fluent and french and this was a very local event -- great Saturday evening!

Early October visit, clean room with kitchen. Very uncluttered and restful. Comfortable king bed. The hotel is located close to Old Montreal, the Underground and St. Patrick's Church (beautiful Gothic). Restaurants close by including Zia which is in the hotel. The hotel staff is most accomodating. We will revisit if we ever return to Montreal

This was a lovely hotel that exceeded my expectations. Very well located; just a block away from St. Catherine St., the underground promenade, metro, within easy walking distance to Chinatown and art museums. Close to a variety of restaurants: Focolaio pizza (delicious), noodle (delicious), coffee cafe and pub. Suites are spacious, quiet, comfortable, clean and equipped with full kitchen and large bathrooms. Very helpful front desk and continental breakfast offers fresh fruit, juices, breads, cereals and coffee/tea. Nothing hot, but more than adequate for the morning. There is also a bank across the street. Taxi fare to the airport is a flat $40 or the airport bus ($8) is at the corner. Would definitely stay again.

We have been staying here for over six years on business and for pleasure. Well located and less than a 10 minute walk from the train station. Large rooms with high ceilings provide a sense of space. Always clean, pretty quiet and the staff are courteous and helpful. Morning breakfast is simple but enough to get one started. Considering the Hampton and Holiday Inns offer a better selection of food items, it might be time to consider offering some new choices.
