We could not have chosen a nicer hotel for our Christmas visit to Montreal. Terrific location, amazingly helpful staff, and wonderful art throughout the building. (there was an original Andy Warhol sketch in our room)

My husband and I stayed here in October and loved it! The rooms are big, the service is great, the hotel bar is amazing and the breakfast was the best buffet breakfast I have had. I look forward to going back.

I just got back from a 4 night stay at LHotel in Montreal. The hotel is right at the Old Port area so a lot of restaurants and the water are all within walking distance (and it's on the orange Metro line which is quick to get to the great shopping area of St. Laurent and St. Denis, and the amazing Atwater market!).

The hotel was super clean, had really nice and knowledgeable staff who spoke perfect English and French (I am from the states and don't speak french). The hotel also had this super fun design - bright colors and cool paintings everywhere. The street was quiet and we even got a free upgrade to the Executive Suite! I will definitely go back to this hotel when I visit Montreal next.

(They have a $15 breakfast that is just continental so we went out to have breakfast but they have a bar in the evenings open until 2am or so.)

A colleague and I stayed at the amazing L Hotel in May/June 2012. We were there for a few days on a business trip. From the moment we checked in through our departure, Manager Nicholas and his team at L Hotel provided us with first class, professional service and attention!! Where else can you be treated to freshly-based, mouth-watering, toe-curling pain au chocolate, a huge sumptuous hotel room with loft-like ceilings and a multi-million dollar art collection that rivals the collections of most museums!! We learned L Hotel's owner is the co-founder of the saucy, sexy clothing line Guess and Guess Marciano. The hotel decor reflects a style that combines modern with sumptuous Paris bistro, with little touches of Elton John glam! It's beautiful, warm, spacious, fun, and comfortably elegant. A visual treat with spaces that showcase an eclectic collection of coveted classical and modern paintings, sculptures, and installations from Chagall, Warhol, Miro, and Robert Indiana. We found the hotel within easy walking distance of great restaurants and Old Montreal. Loved it!! Will stay there again without a doubt!! Thanks Nicholas for making us feel special!!
