We had brunch at Spanel 3 or 4 times, every time it was a nice experience. Friendly owner/chef, originally from Bretagne, who personally welcomes all his customers. Relaxing and friendly atmosphere, nice appropriate music that is present but not too loud. Friendly, attentive staff. Nice patio at the back, quiet and in the shade.
The food is great, mostly galettes and crepes, all done out of fresh ingredients (we sat at the bar a few times, which is around the kitchen area and watched the food being prepared). The menu is very interesting and we try new things every time. The food comes with a fresh salad or fruits, the portion size is appropriate. Very nice choice of drinks. We highly recommend this place for a brunch, and would go there ourselves again.
