“Absolutely insane!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

A true heaven for choc-a-holics. Immerse yourself in the beautiful smell of chocolate when you enter this lovely restaurant followed by the feeling of being a kid being let loose in a candy shop. Chocolate everywhere. Crepe, waffles, pizza, drinks, fruits, white, dark, milk, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. But BEWARE!!! it's very easy to over indulge yourself. I had to do the walk of shame myself after a clear case of chocolate overdose. Great restaurant, excellent food, good ambiance, fair pricing, good service.

“For chocolate lovers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

Near the Forum theatre. Great place to go for a snack or desert on your way to the movies. It's quaint and clean. I recommend it.

“A Must-Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

Absolutely amazing! The choco-nut waffle was superb, with just the right balance between all the flavours, and of course the melted milk chocolate topping was to die for. The rum fondue - highly highly recommended in place of the traditional fondue - had caramel and rum mixed in that gave the fondue a fantastic unique flavour. Fruit was extremely fresh, and the brownie pieces were fudge slices of heaven. The strawberry and chocolate crepe was probably my least favourite dish - the crepe itself was good, but the chocolate was a bit bitter for my liking. I have heard that the Nutella crepe is much better. A MUST TRY is the chocolate drinks - I had the elysee with the suggested base and it was unlike anything I had ever tried. Simply wow. If you are in Montreal, it would be a shame if you did not stop by Cacao 70. Yes, it is busy with locals and a little cramped, but the atmosphere is fantastic, and a busy restaurant is the sign of a good restaurant. My ultimate suggestion: be prepared to have dessert for dinner!

“Must Love Chocolate”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

Noisy, cramped uncomfortable seating, no parking close by, and expensive, BUT if you love chocolate and can put aside these inconveniences you can enjoy a truly chocolate experience like few others.
Banana Parfait served in a tall glass, excellent ice cream and large pieces of banana, delicious, dark chocolate milk shake I can still taste!
