“Really nice gardens on a nice sunny day!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014

When I first went to this place as a young child, I loved how the beautiful plants were so alive and amazing with rich educational information on exotic plants. It was also the first time I've witnessed a whole collection of carnivorous plants as well. I had a very satisfying time at the gardens, especially when I was a child. I believe it would be really great to go on a first or second date to stroll around the Japanese style zen gardens as well. It has many different settings, and a lot of nice delightful attractions. But I will never forget the amazing collection of carnivorous "insect/animal" eating plants there.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2014

The gardens was lovely online but when i went it was spring and it was not as i saw online. Summer here would be amazing... at least in spring we did not have a fee and you could explore at no cost... the pond and surrounding was lovely

Nice setting with different garden style (japanese, etc...). If you like plants and flowers, you would be delightful.
Good for a family visit, especially when the weather is favorable

“Expansive grounds”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2014

Many different gardens, Japanese, Chinese, Rose gardens, not yet blooming in early May. Indoor gardens were impressive, and the Butterflies Fly Free exhibit was really fun.
