“Same as all the others”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

I come here sometimes with my friends. It's a good place to hang out, but it isn't more impressive than most other botanical gardens. I think it's there just so Montreal can just say they have one.

“great place to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012

very very well designed botanical garden near the insectarium which was really cool, and the biodome - great place to visit overall, lots to learn and see; my favorite thing was the area with the different types of plants like vanilla plant, cocoa plant etc. and all the great scents

“Winter times”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012

In the winter, there are no fancy colourful flowers, but the garden still maintains its character. Several evergreen trees on top of a dry waterfall, willows with leaves casted away and damp weather make it somehow a fine place to be (before you get freezing cold and go home :)

Also, you get a lots of squirrels as a bonus.

“Even in winter”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012

Althrough it was winter, the evergreen trees together with nicely designed terrain created a wonderful view. I visited only the three most attractive areas - japanese, chinese garden and alpine area - but it was really worth it.

“Excellent Gardens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

I am not a big gardens fan. However in saying this, if you are in Montreal, you should really do. I went at least twice per year when I was living in Montreal. There is so much to see, so many plants and flowers that I never knew existed, and when the butterflies are around it makes it more pretty.
