My mom, younger sister and I went here to have "Christmas Supper" before I left for the holidays.
On a cold, snowy night, I appreciated the coziness of this place. My sister was already a big fan, but I truthfully had not heard of this place, so I went in with no expectations. Isnt this the best way to go in to a restaurant?
We started with cocktails of course. Our waiter (who was charming without being overly so) recommended the choice of the night which included gin and tea. Since I dont like gin, I asked for other suggestions. He told me that it was really good and that I should give it a try regardless of my dislike for gin. He even offered to drink it if I didnt like it lol... I liked it! So much so that I ordered a 2nd!
The food now. Strangely, my mom and I arent big seafood people but we decided to go for it anyways. The raw scallops were a risk for us and so glad we went for it!
The 3 of us got different dishes so that we could "share". I had one of the best pieces of salmon I had ever had in my life (served with crab bernaise) ! My sister's snow crab pizza was melt in the mouth good. My mom's cabbage rolls were delish !
And I loved those little bread stick things we had with our cocktails.
Oh and dont even get me started on that delectable pancake dessert... memorable and the perfect wrap up to this lovely meal!
