Quick Summary (4 of 5):
Pros
- Room: Excellent size
- Amenities: Great quality bath products
- Hotel restaurant: great value for the price, open for breakfast earlier than most other restaurants in the area, classy
- Location: Great, near Old Port
- Service: Generally good, accommodates room preferences such as street or terrace view
Cons
- Bathroom: Toilet paper placed out of arms length from toilet
- Television: Not directly in front of bed, should be larger given size of room and distance of television from couch/bed
- Service: The only real negative point I had was that the good service ends the second you checkout. It was raining outside and I asked the porter to borrow an umbrella to go across the street to buy a sandwich before my flight. The porter directs me to ask the concierge, the concierge quickly brushed me off and directed me back to the porter again (both taking no accountability even though I had just checked out one minute ago). Moments like this are what distinguishes a "good" hotel from a "great" hotel - a great hotel cares about its customers and is seeking repeat business and advertising via word of mouth (i.e. 5 star reviews) versus a good hotel which offers adequate service until you checkout.More
