“A great local getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

We booked a night at the St-Sulpice to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary, which we combined with massages at the Scandinave Spa next door. The front desk service was impeccable each time we encountered them, from the first time we phoned in to reserve until checkout. We were kindly upgraded to a magnificent suite complete with a living room, dining room, kitchenette -- even a powder room, fireplace and terrace! All in all a terrific weekend and on another note - odd as it may sound - the hotel lobby smells so fantastic we actually had to ask where the scent was coming from, and we purchased a bottle of the sweet-smelling stuff to spray at home. Very enjoyable and highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for #601. Wow!

“First class hotel in an excellent location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

My beau and I spent two nights at this wonderful hotel in September after disembarking from a cruise. We arrived before noon, so could not check in. We left our bags and headed out to explore the city. Upon our return, our bags were brought up to a lovely, very clean, and spacious suite (312) with full amenities -- frig, microwave, pots & pans, fireplace, wi-fi, etc. Before I could close the door the phone rang. It was the front desk calling to ask if everything was ok. Wow, what a great way to start a hotel stay! That friendliness continued throughout our short visit. Breakfast was included, and was more than adequate. Since it was still quite warm, I enjoyed having bottled water delivered to our room each afternoon. The entire staff was courteous, professional and went out of their way to be helpful. Great shops, art galleries, restaurants and the Metro are all within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return!

Room Tip: Our suite faced the street, on the south side of the hotel. However, it was quiet.

“Le Saint Sulpice Hotel, Montreal, Canada”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

This was our third time at Le Saint Sulpice and this time we brought 6 of ours friends!

They are wonderful, well appointed rooms, the service ( all front desk, wait staff/bartender, maintenance/cleaners) all helpful, polite and professional... fantastic. The location - ideal! The continental breakfast, which we addded to our package, was a simple, convenient and perfect. The beds are luxe and very comfortable. The toiletries are beautiful! The rooms/suites are charming (how about those fireplaces...hmm?), the french doors/windows are such a pleasure to open in the morning, flooding your room with fresh air and light , but great to have all the drapery needed to sleep late!

Once again, a really pleasurable stay!

See you next year!

Susan and Jeff

“lovely gem in vieux montreal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

My husband and I stayed at Le Saint Sulpice for 3 nights the first week of November to celebrate our 15th anniversary...and we loved it. The suite was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of natural light from the large (fully operable!) French windows. Everyone at the desk was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed using the in-suite nespresso machine. And...we even spotted James Woods exiting the hotel!

Room Tip: We liked facing the quiet leafy courtyard.

“A for effort, great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

We booked this hotel on the recommendation of a friend. We got a call the day before, apologizing profusely that they had a flood and our room would not be available for 24 hours. They put us up in a different hotel for a night, at their expense (waiving the fee from Expedia for the first night), then brought us over and gave us a spectacular suite. The hotel is in a fantastic location, staff was super friendly and helpful. At the end of the stay, I could not find a very cherished leather jacket. I had no idea where I might have left it, but when we got home, I emailed the concierge, who was very helpful, and found the jacket - it had been misplaced when it was delivered to our room. They sent it to me by Fedex. These were mistakes made by the hotel, but they were great about it, and I hold no ill will towards them - in fact, I can't wait to go back there the next time we visit. I would highly, highly recommend this place.

Room Tip: If you can swing the cost of a suite, it will be well worth it
