“Great Way To Spend An Afternoon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

This was an excellent way to spend an afternoon. We were able to learn a little about the city and got to visit three excellent micro breweries. Jeramie was an excellent host and made the tour even better.

“Great time had by all!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

As the previous review mentions, we were the two New Zealand women drinking with the New Jersey couples! We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the company, the beer, the food. We were impressed with our tour guides knowledge of the city and loved learning about the history of beer in Montreal and also general Montreal history. All the bars Jermaine took us to were excellent in their own different way. As Sharon said, the pecan, brie bread extravaganza was out of this world. The marshmallow and Milk Stout beer was also a surprise hit! If you love beer, meeting new people and learning about a city - you have to go on this trip. Best money we spent in Montreal by far. Thanks again!

“Lots of Fun!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

My husband and I and another couple we travel with all did the Beer tour. Our tour guide was Jermaine. We were joined by another man who was taking the tour to be a tour guide and two other women from New Zealand. We had such a great time with our fellow beer drinkers and Jermaine was just wonderful. He was knowledgeable and the beers he choose were so good. Definitely the highlight was the second bar. The smoked beer with a Brie cheese covered in Canadian maple syrup and pecans was the perfect mixture. Dipping the bread in the mixture and then taking a sip of the smoked beer, heavenly. Also the stout beer with a hint of chocolate and dropping a marshmallow in it was just so good to eat and drink. Our group found the last brewery's beers a little to strong, we throughly enjoyed this tour and loved hearing facts about the city.

“Tasty and fun!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

My tour guide was very knowledgeable about beer and Montreal. We went to three brew pubs and took a walking tour that included the underground city. As the solo traveler in the group that included 2 couples, I didn't feel awkward, but I partially ascribe that to the friendly nature of the entire city. This was a very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon and I highly recommend it to anybody who likes beer.

“What a surprise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

Not your normal brewery tour. You will not see the insides of a brewery but you will relax in three eclectic brew pubs and will learn a lot about Quebec, Montreal, and different types of beer. Little did I know that I would learn about Prohibition in Quebec, that apricots and wheat beer are a great combination, that inter-province taxation on beer in Canada is complicated, and that warm brie covered in maple syrup and walnuts can be orgasmic with certain beers. Ishmael is a natural, make sure he's your guide. Perfect for history buffs and beer lovers.
