“Go HABS!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

You got to go there if you are a hockey fan. I have been following the Habs since the great Patrick Roy and the museum was a great way to discover about the history of probably one of the most famous hockey club in the world!!!! You will find some great artifacts from old jerseys to the first ever mask worn by a goalie. it is just a must see for any hockey fan. As for the others... Well I managed to bring my wife to the museum also, and I think she had some fun.

The shop is also great. I would recommend to stop by at your next trip to Montreal

“A must for any Canadiens fan”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

This museum is a must for any Canadiens fan. There are many great displays both static and interactive to enjoy.

A couple highlights were the replica of the train car the Habs would have used to travel in; the locker room from the Forum with the 76-77 team jerseys in the stalls; and the hockey cards displays made me want to get out my old cards.

We had about half and hour in there and didn't get finished before they closed from 5:00 to 5:30. We needed more time and had ever intention of going back in after they reopened but we ended up going in to the Bell Centre for the game and going to the Habs store.

I would strongly suggest that you don't go to the store right before the game as it was chaotic. We returned to the store the day after the game and we had to share the store with one other family and got exceptional customer service.

“A Walk Through Canadiens Hockey History”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

A very well done museum of Canadiens hockey history as well as that of other NHL teams that had rivalries with Les Habs. You'll see a replica of the Canadiens' locker room as it looked at the old Forum. A rail car depicting travel in the NHL in the fifties, details about the original 6 NHL teams and lots of Canadiens memorabilia from their 100+ year history. Even for the casual hockey fan, a trip to the shrine of the sport's most winning franchise is worth it. Include a tour of the Bell Centre for $6CN and get a total Canadiens immersion.

“Montreal Canadiens Hall of Fame”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

If you are a Habs fan you must go! There were a lot of old memorabilia from the team over the years. I'm not much of a hockey fan, however I was very impressed. My husband, needless to say, was in his glory. You can take as many pictures as you want as well. You can take as much time as you like, strolling through the hall of fame. They also have individual tours that you can go on, but are an extra charge.

“For the hockey fan”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

The sports fans in our group loved this. Some neat trivia, photo ops, videos, memorabilia and the like. We spent more time in the Canadiens shop then in the Hall of Fame, but that says as much about the people I was with as anything.
