Awesome coffee but slow wifi. A little coffee shop with lots of atmosphere. Toilet facilities a bit lacking.
If you want the best coffee and sandwiches in the old montreal Espace Cafe is definitely the place to go to.
The advantage of a family business is that the staff is very friendly and really paying attention to what they serve you.
They only use high quality products for the food and the best italian coffee for the espresso. You have to taste the italian hot chocolate as well.
I'd recommend this place 100%.

We went to Espace every day--the coffee/cocoa/tea are insanely good. The pastries/sandwiches were scrumptious. The staff is very friendly. Window seats make for great people watching. The service is nice and fast. It is a don't miss.
