“Great location, decent price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2012

This is an affordable priced hotel in the heart of downtown montreal. Make sure you get one of the rooms with king size bed, they have just been renovated. They are large and very nice.

Recently renovated, nice bright foyer, floors served by 2 elevators, we had a room overlooking the front street but it was still quiet, room was good sized and clean with hardwood floors, 2 double beds, fridge, coffee maker, 46" LCD, iron/ board, good supply of towels and toiletries, curved shower curtain and free wi-fi. However there was no in-room safe or free breakfast included (not a problem with all the nice eateries nearby), we paid an extra $13 for hotel-recommended parking at the Stanley Auto-Park behind the Hotel (24 hrs, indoor, secured, full in/out previleges and cheaper than the $20 outdoor parking across the street).

The hotel location was superb, right downtown and walking distance to area attractions including McGill, Concordia, the Bell Centre, Metro and all the shops and action on St Catherines and Rene Levesque. Hotel location and amenities represent very good value for the rate we paid, would certainly stay here again.

Right downtown, and close to the Metro, the location is great for the price. Comfy and a bit run down, furnishings are out of date, and some problems with age, i.e. old showers, doors that stick, tiny elevator. I'm a light sleeper and had no problems with noise. We had a problem with the air conditioner in our room halfway through our trip and they switched our names with no problem.

This hotel is very well located in the heart or downtown Montreal. I've been to this hotel last year and they have since renovated and improved the Internet connection. It is very clean and very nice. The room I was give was large, nice, clean and the bed was very comfortable. They have a Cora restaurant on the first floor which is very practicle. I am recom this hotel 100%.

This was my second stay at this hotel. Both times I booked this hotel for its proximity to the Bell Centre and the value. It is literally a 5 minute walk, you can see the Bell Centre just down the street from the hotel. The price to stay at this hotel cannot be beat especially for its proximity to the Bell Centre.

It looks like the rooms have been updated since my last stay a year ago, the room was very clean and comfortable.

I would stay at this hotel again and again. In fact I am doing so again in June. :)

This hotel is located right in the heart of downtown Montreal, close to shopping, restaurants and nightlife. So in terms of location it is good. Rooms were average, being fairly small and with some dated/broken furniture. Corridors looked dated and not well maintained. The elevators seemed old, and tool forever to come at peak times - I had to wait 10mins three times and at least 5 mins a few more times. Service was not very good: I was disturbed on a number of occasions despite having the do not disturb sign at the door and beds were made rather sloppy (or possibly the sheets are actually a bit too small). Walls seem very thin - I could hear people speaking in rooms either side. I have still given a 3*** rating here because of the location, but only just. I should think that there are better hotels in this price bracket.
