We dined at Le Square the day after Thanksgiving. It is on Prince Arthur near a group of BYOB restaurants. We arrived early (around 7) to a nearly empty restaurant, but by 8 the place was jam packed with several groups of young diners. The menu had a large selection of both appetizers and entrees. I ordered from one of the table d'hote menus and had a delicious pea soup, followed by a terrific tuna tartare. For my main plate, I had scallops and dessert was a hazelnut creme anglaise in a pastry. My wife had a filet accompanied by a Roquefort sauce. The food was outstanding, especially the tuna, dessert and the filet, as the Roquefort sauce did not overpower the flavor of the meat. The restaurant was just fun; although it was very loud, the atmosphere was really invigorating. A classic Parisian/Montreal bistro with attentive service and great food.
