“4 Unforgettable Summer Nights”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

Nice location, amenities, and service - phoned the front desk for clean bed sheets at 3 am, they knocked on the door 3 minutes after hanging up, literally. Will keep them in my book and return here again next vacation!

Room Tip: Get double bed room facing de maisonneuve!

We stayed in the Hotel St-Martin Particulier in April 2012. Very nice hotel. Because I was booking on points, I decided to go with one of the Suite Verrière rooms. Wow! Huge room, incredible bathroom (including flatscreen TV above the tub), and amazing view of downtown Montreal through the wall-to-wall glass windows. If you're willing to spend a bit more, I highly recommend these rooms (if you're looking at the hotel from the street, it's the rounded window rooms). Staff was very helpful. We didn't get a chance to eat at the hotel restaurant, but it looked good! The pool way small but very warm, outdoors too! We mostly had it to ourselves. The view from the pool deck is a bit depressing (big parking lot). Hotel location was great, walking distance to everything downtown and a metro stop only a block away. Definitely 10/10!

Room Tip: We were put in a lower suite first, but were worried about road noise. They moved us up to the 17th...

The best bathtub I've ever found in a hotel room! Lovely decor, very classy room. Staff were friendly and helpful and we got an early check-in, which was an unexpected bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed 8 nights here, and I suppose that we have a realistic feed-back: excellent down town location, excellent room, x-large very comfortable bed, and L'Aromate restaurant can meet the highest expectations (French-Canadian food). All staff hotel&restaurant well educated and costumer oriented.
Anyway, you should know that they will ask for guarantee on the credit card at an unusual high rate (more than $100 per night).

Our 10 person group stayed here for a Montreal weekend and we really liked the hotel. The rooms are great, the bed are comfortable, the staff is service oriented and the hotel is very well located. There is a really great outdoor pool that is perfect for lounging. It's best to go to the pool in the morning or early afternoon as the sun get blocked out after 3pm ish.

The room and bathroom were very nice, clean, and modern. The pool area is small but quaint. We travelled with another couple and realized in the morning that the AC didn't work in either of our rooms. We kept thinking it would click on, but it never did. But other than that, we'd definitely stay there again (and if you have trouble with the AC - call the front desk. Our friends called and had their room switched).
