“Majestic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

This cathedral is so majestic that offers solemnity and spiritual blessings. Makes your experience more wholesome when attending a mass (be prepared to polish your French). This is open for public Christians and non-Christians alike.

This is also the cathedral where Celine Dion was married, just added pride to your travel journals.

“Beautiful Church”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2014

Great architecture. Lovely and peaceful church right in the middle of the city. The priests are all very nice and accommodating and willing to speak to all parishoners and visitors

“Its free!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

Travelling around montreal is a breeze because of its transportation system (subway). Get the 3 day unlimited pass for CAD$18 for stm subway because one ride is CAD$3. You can walk from Bonaventure station. I've been to Notre Dame Monteal too, & I cant compare Notre with Mari church. Both has its own theme with very different architecture. Pay a visit & snap some nice shots if you're near by.

“Am I in Rome?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

This is the Cathedral for the Archdiocese of Montreal and a minor basilica. It is a replica of St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City, but in my humble opinion, not nearly as beautiful and awe-inspiring. Take some time to look at the paintings on the walls, as there are many of the North American Martyrs. A must see while in Montreal.

“A miniature St Peter's”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Beautiful building, much art, a very good representation of traditional Quebec religion. If you aren't Catholic. An interesting visit. If you are, a fine experience.
