“An interesting diversion”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013 via mobile

Probably worth visiting if you plan to visit the Botanical Gardens (you can save money by buying a combined ticket) or if you have young children. Otherwise, the Biodome is interesting enough if nothing special. It suffers a bit from being situated in the wasteland that is the Olympic Park but is easy to reach by Metro from the city centre. The various climatic zones feature a variety of plants, fish, birds and animals and one can wander through these at leisure for an hour or so. The penguins at the end of the tour were a big hit with the class-room of excited children that appeared while I was there. An interesting side-note is that the building in which the Biodome is situated was the Velodrome for the1976 Olympics.

“Biodome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

The Biodome is really fun place to go, when its raining outside. This place is buzzing with lots of things to see and do. When visiting Montreal, please put this down in your bucket list. You will not be disappointed.

“Okay for Kids”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013 via mobile

While the Biodome may be okay for kids (they all seemed to be enjoying it), we felt it was a bit boring and not well maintained. Lot's of fish and birds but few other animals. There were sections of the place that looked like it could use some serious maintenance, or at least covered up with some posters or something. The place was busy, so perhaps we're the only ones that was missing the point...

“An enjoyable morning”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

We took the metro here from our hotel. The way they had it set up was great, and really showed the relationship of animals to plants in a different type of area. I though it was kind of small for the price, but still enjoyable.

“An indoor zoo”

Maybe good for young kids, but nothing unique or worth the trip. Buy tickets in advance. The line was very long.
